A Letter To An Atheist

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life! John 3:16

Satan has blinded many from the truth...they will not hear and are in essence a slave to him. He has them shackled and laughs at them. Satan hates humans because they are the only ones in God's creation that God has redeemed through His own death, burial, and Resurrection.

You can tell who has been seduced, blinded, and shackled because they are angry with God and Christians...just like Satan. Who do you think planted those ideas of hatred in your hearts? It wasn't God!

True Christians still have a great love for those who will spit in their faces while telling them of a way to escape the wrath to come...and it is coming. The Bible is the only book that has hundreds of prophecies fulfilled and has been proven accurate time and time again by those who really delve into it to find the truth...which, is why it still stands. God said that His Word would endure forever!

God gave us a standard in The Ten Commandments. When we realize that we can never live up to that standard every day of our lives it becomes what God said it is - a mirror to show us what condition we are in. When we see our true state it is then that we can throw ourselves at the feet of the Savior and cry out, "God have mercy on me!" When we do this the Father picks up His child and says, "You are forgiven and you can come live with me forever"!

I did this many years ago and through all the trials and troubles I have stood stronger with Him than I ever would have without Him.

Right now we live in a fallen world, but Jesus is coming back to get His Bride (God's children) and to make everything right again like He originally intended it to be. I want to take as many with me as I can so I implore you to take my hand and come with me...while there is still time! God has not given the command yet, He is still holding open the door just like He held the ark door open for 7 days before the flood came.

God will open the eyes of the one who really wants to know the truth. Only when you become His child will you have the ability to interpret the scripture. It has the answers to the questions you are asking, but when you still have the scales on your eyes you cannot see it!

Stop being angry with God! He loves you more than you will ever know and is not willing that any should perish! 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."

What a wonderful God! My life has been so different since I met Him! I lay my head down in peace and rest at night knowing I am in His hands...loving, nail-scarred hands!

I love you because of Him!!!

P.S. There is good and evil, darkness and light. There are 2 forces in this world that are greater than we are, God and Satan. There are 2 choices of whom to serve. There are 2 choices of whom to spend eternity with. When we pick one we are making a choice. When we don't pick one we are making a choice. There is no neutral ground. We are not an entity unto ourselves. We are all in this and connected.

This day and the days before I have been given a choice of my own free will and I have chosen the One True God. The maker of heaven and earth. The Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. The Everlasting God! The only One who can see across the span of time. The only One who died for me!
