She Who Kneels Before God Can Stand Before ANYONE!!

She who kneels before God can stand before ANYONE...

Dear Princess, Daughter of the Most High God,

Have you knelt before your King today...or even yesterday or the day before? Have you praised Him and thanked Him for your salvation that came at such a high cost? Have you asked Him to forgive the sins in your life that keep you from getting the healing that you need and hinders the sweet fellowship you could be having with a loving, yet holy and omnipotent God?......

(Most likely, you know what these transgressions are because you may have been hiding them from the rest of the world for quite some time... but, if you do not know.... "ASK" if there be anything that hinders you and He will show you. It is of utmost importance to Your Lord. He saved YOU to have a relationship with YOU. You are precious to Him because you are His child... YOU are HIS beloved. He will help you lay down that which besets you and keeps you from running the race He has set before you.)

If you have not gone to Him today, it's not too late. Do it right now before satan snatches this moment from you. Your Savior is calling and He is only a prayer away.....

I know and you know, from experience, that when you have been in His presence, unhindered by sin, it is glorious and we feel a power coursing through our veins that the world cannot know. It causes us to stand our ground even when we find ourselves standing alone. It causes us to love the unlovable and stand against injustice done to the weak and not turn a blind eye. It helps us to be more than conquerors. It gives us holy boldness to be a witness to ANY man... not fearing what man would do to us. It causes us to fear NO ONE, but God... and we will not feel the sting of rejection because we will know that we are accepted by, His Majesty, the One who loves us and gave Himself for us.

Precious one, satan is jealous of this power and he will do whatever is necessary to keep you from having it. DON'T let him have his way with you any longer!

Are your secret sins worth more to you than our loving God and Creator and the sacrifice He made? Are they worth hanging onto and causing you to continually live in defeat... or is it time to rise up and say, "I'm not going to live like this anymore! Satan has destroyed too much... taken too much! It is time for his reign of terror to end! It is time to take my rightful place as a joint heir with Jesus Christ... as priests and kings. It is time to live a holy, dedicated, and separated life! It is time to stop living in the trap satan has me in... living like a slave to sin... living below my means... living like a pauper instead of a princess..."

Oh friend, listen......"He that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)

Ask for forgiveness and be set free --- FREE from anger, anxiety, bitterness, unforgiveness, jealousy, lying, stealing, cheating, coveting, gossiping, judgmental attitudes, being unfaithful to God's cause, lack of empathy for the lost, fornication, drunkeness, addictions, selfishness, every form of wickedness, feelings of inferiority, feelings of rejection, lack of faith, disobedience, not hating what God hates and loving what God loves! Run, to Him dear child and lay it down! He loves you and He wants to heal you! No one is holding you back...ONLY YOU are holding you back! There is victory and deliverance in His precious name! LET GO AND LET GOD! Feel the power of His presence!

There is NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING worth hanging onto...NOTHING of such worth that it should come between you and your GOD... between you and living the abundant life that God intended you to live... a life free of the burdens you were never meant to carry!!! DO NOT delay my sister-in-Christ!! Today is the day for your deliverance! Not tomorrow... for it may never come!! Shake it off! Lay it down! You know that you must! Nothing will change until you do.......

I love you because of Calvary,

~The Princess Warrior ♔

P.S. Friend, I felt pressed on all sides to share this message. God knows that someone needs to hear it. Someone may be on the last leg of their journey and is fearful to meet God, someone may be on the verge of placing themselves on a shelf to never be used of God again, or someone may be ready to throw in the towel on life. Don't do it! There is still hope! As long as you have breathe... THERE IS HOPE! Realization, belief, and repentance are the steps to reconciliation and healing.

If you've never known the feeling that I have described in the letter above... if you've never had the power of God on your life before, I would be glad to lead you to its source.... JESUS, JESUS, JESUS!!! There's just something about that name! I can show you how to receive Him today. Just leave me a comment and I WILL respond... I care, but most of all, GOD CARES and He will meet you where you are!!

Pretty, Pretty Princess

Pretty, Pretty Princess
 by Micca Campbell

“Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel; But let it be the hidden (wo)man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.” ~1 Peter 3:3-4

Devotion:

The other day I came across a photo of my daughter’s first school dance. She looked like a Princess. Part of her fun that evening was getting dressed up for the event. Like most girls, Peyton has loved playing dress-up since she was a little girl. I have many pictures of her dressed up like a bride, a princess, or a ballerina. Peyton loved playing dress-up so much that one year on her birthday I bought her a board game called “Pretty, Pretty Princess.”

Quickly, it became her favorite game. With each turn, the player had the opportunity to put on an earring, a necklace, or a bracelet according to which card was drawn. You won the game if you drew the Princess crown! I can still recall how cute it was watching her play with her daddy, and how fun it was to see him wearing the plastic jewelry. One time, he actually answered the front door wearing his Pretty, Pretty Princess jewels.

Looking back over the years, I’ve come to realize that Peyton is not alone. No matter how old we get as women, we still long to be as beautiful as a princess. That desire is a God-given desire. However, since we live in a fallen world, we often try to fill our God-given desires in unhealthy ways.

For example, the world tells us in order to be beautiful we must be a perfect size, have no defects, and a cover-girl face. Anybody measure up? I know I don't. Most of us probably don't, but secretly we wish we did. How do I know? Just look at the millions of dollars spent every year on cosmetics, lotions, surgeries, and beauty aids. Can't say that I wouldn't like a lift and a tuck myself!

Turning on the TV or looking at what women are wearing today will give us evidence that we've allowed the world to shape our views on beauty. The world encourages us to seek a beauty that only lasts for a brief amount of time. God encourages us to cultivate a beauty that will never fade but only grow more beautiful with time. God's Word always has a way of bringing me back to truth. It removes the pressures of what the world says, and allows me to be nothing more than who God created me to be...beautiful in His sight.

Besides, if you’re a child of the King, then you’re already a princess. “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light.” (1 Peter 2:9). You and I were not only called out of our sin into the saving light of Christ, but we were made daughters of the King. As royal princesses, who cares what the world says? God’s princesses come in all shapes and sizes—and He loves them all!

Dear Lord, Help me not to focus on my outward appearance more than I should. Instead, give me a greater desire to cultivate my inner beauty that grows more attractive with time, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Additional Resources:

This blog post can be found at Micca Campbell.

 Application Steps:

Cultivate your inner beauty by recording and memorizing verses that remind you of who you are in God’s eyes.  If possible, purchase the book “His Princess, Love Letters from Your King” to discover the truth of who you are.

Reflections:

How much time do you give to your outward appearance as opposed to your inner beauty?

How can you change the view that beauty is only skin deep?

In what ways can cultivating inner beauty be seen on the outside of you?

Power Verses:

Proverbs 31:30, “Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.”

Exodus 34:29, “And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.”

2 Corinthians 3:18, “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”

A Daughter of the King

 I am a daughter
I am a daughter of The King,
The Master & Creator of everything,
I am a Princess through God’s Royalty,
Crowned with His jewels is my reality,
I am more precious than the Lily of the field,
Adorned with loveliness & wrapped in God’s shield,

I am a joint heir with Jesus,
Through Whom I am Holy & Righteous,

I am the light of the world,
For in me is Jesus’ light all shiny & pearled,

I am Jesus’ dear & precious friend,
My heart on Him doth depend,

I was chosen by God, holy & dearly loved,
Chosen to do His work through His leading from above,

My body is a temple of God - His dwelling place,
And a member of Christ’s body upon Him I embrace,

I am a new creation, born of The King,
Made of His workmanship to Him I cling,

Of this world I am a stranger,
For my citizenship is in Heaven without danger,

I have fellow citizenship with The Family of God,
Fellowshipping & serving while walking this sod,

I am a saint through His Righteousness,
An expression of the life of Christ Jesus,

Born under God’s protective royalty,
The devil, my enemy, cannot touch me,

I am one in Spirit with God, One in Christ Jesus,
Therefore resembling Christ when He returns for us,

Thank You, Father God, for these privileges are in You,
Thank You, Father, for loving me so very true !

What Kind of Friend Am I

It's me again Margaret! Lol! Some of you will get that. The ones that do I'll know how old you are! =)

There was no post yesterday because I had severe neck pain. Today, it is a little better so I'm trying to get one out for you. My computer is not cooperating...so what else is new. Lol.

Anyway, just to let you know I've started drinking water again. I have a water bottle (BPA free, of course) that holds 16 ounces and I drank 1 today. I know, I know, that's kinda wimpy, but you see, I reeeeally hate drinking water.

I want to work toward drinking 4 bottles a day. A neat way to keep up with this is to put 4 hair elastics around the bottom of your water bottle and each time you finish a full bottle move one of the elastics up (yes, I have to resort to such things because of a terrible memory). Anyway, this shows me how many I have left to go. Slick, huh. =)

You know, I just realized I haven't been out of the house in a little over a week! Not even to the mailbox. No wonder I have cabin fever! Not that I could get out anyway with all this snow and ice still on the roads, but I really don't know where I would go if I could get out. I really need to make some friends! Actually, I've had friends, but I have lost contact because of my health problems. It wasn't all their fault, it was partly mine.

There have been a lot of special people in my life in the past and I have lost touch with them and that saddens me. This year I need to change that. And more than ever I have a great desire to make new, godly women friends. Here is a list of what my dream girl (LOL) would be:

  • The kind that will call you when you're sick to say, "I'm praying for you...is there anything you need?" and mean it.
  • The kind that are so in tune with God that they say the right things at the right time. As a matter of fact, they always say "right" things.
  • The kind that notice your sad face, not just what you're wearing.
  • The kind who see your heart, not your lack of flashy jewelry.
  • The kind who see your worth to the body of Christ, not your hairstyle.
  • The kind who are sorrowful if they think they've hurt your feelings...or the feelings of anyone else.
  • The kind who "have your back", not stabbing you in it.
  • The kind you can confide in with "NO fear" of doing so.
  • The kind who talk to you, not about you.
  • The kind who encourages you, not criticizes you.
  • The kind who have a beauty that does not fade with age...a beauty that comes from walking daily with God, being washed in His Word.
  • The kind who have a quite confidence (because of her Lord) and are not loud, and boisterous, and bossy.
  • The kind who wants power...God's power. Because they know they are weak without Him.
  • The kind who does nothing for show, but serves humbly because Christ laid down His life for her.
  • The kind who glows, not because of Bare Minerals, but because she has just spent time with Jesus.

I think these are some wonderful qualities in a Christian woman, don't you? But,I not only want this kind of friend, I want to be this kind of friend. I want to have these qualities in ME! This kind of woman can make friends anywhere. People will never forget this kind of woman for they will in some way be a better person for knowing her.

I don't think these are lofty expectations. We can do and be anything through Christ. When he lives inside there SHOULD be something different about us...something supernatural. We ARE talking about the God of the universes here! Because He lives in our heart it will show through and it usually shows first in how we treat others...no matter how different from us they may seem.

People see a difference in a woman who walks with God and they see that she is not like everyone else. She is different, not in an arrogant way, but in a way that points to Christ as the source. It is Christ who has made the difference in her.

The sad part is, I have sometimes found more women in the world with some of these qualities than women in the church. Friends this should not be! Satan is in attack mode because he knows his days are numbered. He knows the signs just as we do...actually, he knows them better. He knows his fate and he is working frantically to take down as many  of us as possible. It's time we stood together! Satan can alienate and defeat an isolated Christian, but he cannot defeat us when we lock arm in arm and march forward...TOGETHER.

We can do this! We just have to take our eyes off "self" and start looking at the woman beside us. Is she stumbling? Is she starting to stray? Has she weakened in her resolve? Is she growing weary due to the stresses of life? God forbid, maybe she's lost!

Maybe we should look at ourselves and say, "Is it me Lord? Am I hurting the cause of Christ?" Were it not for the grace of God, it could be us who is the next to fall.  Satan is throwing his fiery darts and we never know which direction they will come from. If God needs to teach us a lesson He may allow us to be hit and take a tumble to wake us up and get us back in the battle.

You know, I am a princess because my Father is the King of kings. It has nothing to do with what I did or who I am. But, being able to call myself a warrior has everything to do with me. I'm either in the fight against satan or I'm being used by him to further his cause. There is no middle ground. I'm either in the fight or I'm in the way.

Ever since I was a little girl and even when I was in the Marine Corps I always wanted to be on the winning side. I wanted to be with "the best of the best". Like I've been known to say, "My Fathers a King. I fight in his army. And what keeps me fighting is this - I've read the back of the book and we win!!

Wow! Where did all this come from? I suppose from my desire to be a better Christian, a better woman, a better friend. I have finally told you one of my other resolutions for 2011. I don't want to change just the outside of me, but the inside as well. God looks on the heart. What does He see in mine? What does He see in yours?

I believe He is coming again and I want to live like I believe! Until later my dear friends...

May God bless you today over and above what you are able to receive!

In His Service,

The Princess Warrior
